About Us
Motherly Heart is a grassroots organization founded in 2023 by Ajambo Mary and is committed to transforming the lives of vulnerable children and adolescent girls through education.
We employ an innovative story-based learning method that effectively boost literacy rates in underserved communities, resulting in remarkable educational outcomes.
Our mission is resolute, we are dedicated to ending child marriage and championing girls' education by mitigating the barriers that hinder their access to quality learning.
We work closely with rural adolescent girls to promote gender equity and ensure equal educational opportunities for all. Through our impactful efforts, we are creating lasting, positive change in the lives of vulnerable children and driving the advancement of gender equality.
Our Founder
Ajambo Mary is a dedicated development practitioner and the visionary founder of Motherly Heart Organisation. She holds a degree in Development Studies from Ndejje University and is committed to ensuring that vulnerable children, especially girls, have access to the opportunities she once fought hard to attain.
Growing up, Mary experienced the weight of poverty and inequality, shaping her belief that education is the most powerful tool to transform lives and uplift communities. These experiences fuel her mission to ensure no child is left behind.
With this conviction, she founded the Motherly Heart Organization, leading it with compassion, integrity, and a deep understanding of the realities of rural families.
